On this tour through the extensive early baroque monastery complex, you will discover the traces of the Carthusian monks who lived here in solitude and silence, learn more about the poorhouse era, the decay and the gradual restoration since 1984 by the Federal Monument Office.
Particularly noteworthy are the monastery church, the richly decorated imperial wing and the imperial garden with its historic roses, the Great Cloister and the adjoining cells of the monks.
