Leisure time in Hausbrunn: beautiful hikes and long bike rides
Several marked hiking trails lead to wonderfully relaxing Weinviertel fresh air spots. The Gottfried von Preyer circular hiking trail, for example, commemorates the local son who became world-famous as a bandleader and composer in the 19th century.
The region is also exciting for cyclists: the four-hour Eurovelo stage 9 from Valtice to Mannersdorf, for example, leads via Hausbrunn. Another tip is the Kamp-Thaya-March route: it leads from Altlichtenwarth via Hausbrunn to Hohenau an der March. Incidentally, the entire KTM route is a good 400 kilometers long.
