Beer Tradition and Culinary Delight
In the heart of the picturesque old town of Weitra is the Brauhotel Weitra.
For a sporty balance after a strenuous seminar day in one of the perfectly equipped seminar rooms, numerous well-marked Xundwärts routes for running and Nordic walking are available alongside the "Running Enjoyment Route."
The start sign of the 1,900 m long route is centrally located, to the right of the fountain at Rathausplatz in Weitra.
We run via a left-right combination into Schlossgasse, then slightly uphill past Schloss Weitra through Hofgraben.
On falling terrain, we pass Dr.-Kordik-Platz and then turn into the Promenade, where we can pick up the pace along the city wall and the historic town center.
In the final section, the route leads slightly uphill via the alley and town gate back to the starting point at Rathausplatz in Weitra, where after 1,900 m we arrive at the start and finish sign in front of the town hall.

A 1 Salzburg-Vienna to Linz junction, continue on A 7 via Linz to Freistadt, on B 38 to Karlstift, and on B 41 to Weitra. From Vienna on A 22, B 3 to Krems, then on B 37 to Zwettl, from there to Weitra.
ParkolásThe town square in Weitra is a short-term parking zone. Parking is available at Kirchenplatz (about 100 m from Brauhotel Weitra). Loading and unloading of your luggage is possible directly in front of the Brauhotel.
