The Feistritztal cycle path is one of the gems among the new cycle routes in the Vienna Alps in Lower Austria. With about 18 kilometers, it is a short cycle route, but this means more time to enjoy the valley idyll on the Feistritz.

From EuroVelo9 at Aspang, the cycle path runs flat with two small climbs through Feistritz and Kirchberg to Otterthal until just before Trattenbach, where the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein worked as a primary school teacher.

From the starting point, keep to the left and follow the course of the Feistritz. We cycle through Feistritz am Wechsel, Kirchberg am Wechsel, and Otterthal to Trattenbach. There you have the opportunity to visit the exhibition "Ludwig Wittgenstein and Trattenbach".

An absolute recommendation, even for a longer stay, is the Naturhotel Molzbachhof. The hotel itself is an experience and serves as a starting point for trips by bike or on foot in Kirchberg am Wechsel.
