The start is the Krahuletz Museum. From there, walk towards the train station out of Eggenburg. Always straight ahead past the Florianibründl to the Armenseelenkreuz; there turn right onto the service road towards Kühnring. Then continue towards Kühnring. The path then turns left. On the way to Zogelsdorf, you pass the Barbarakapelle. At the entrance of Zogelsdorf is the Johannes quarry, and in the Steinmetzhaus Zogelsdorf you learn all about the famous sandstone from quarrying to processing – a museum worth seeing (open only on weekends). The path leads out of Zogelsdorf and back towards Eggenburg. At the forest edge, take the path leading right through the small forest, cross a street, and continue through the forest towards Galgenberg. At the first field path intersection, turn sharp left and follow the field path straight towards Kalvarienberg. Past the woodland shrine, continue to the Mayerkapelle; after this, turn right towards the Grabkapelle on Vitusberg. After a beautiful Baroque boundary stone, a branch to the right leads to the Vituskapelle with a magnificent view to the east: Grafenberg, Wartberg, and the wide fields of the Weinviertel; to the north, the Kogelsteine. Return on the path and continue again to the Grabkapelle. From there, go over the playground down towards the town.
