Leírás
The Knödel-Land cycle route is particularly attractive for you as a cyclist because from Merkenbrechts, just a few kilometers after the start in Göpfritz an der Wild, it takes you through the largely untouched, species-rich landscape of the military training area. But also to other rarities such as the ruins of the villages of Neunzen and Wurmbach, as well as the picturesque officer settlement with distinctive wooden houses in Allentsteig or the shot glass museum in Echsenbach. An extremely attractive section opens up for you along the Thaya River via Schwarzenau to Windigsteig - well strengthened by the dumpling specialties of the region. There you meet the southern Thaya round and return via Breitenfeld to the start in Göpfritz/Wild.
Attention: The route passes through the Allentsteig military training area, a military restricted zone. Passage is permitted until further notice. Please do not leave the marked path!
