The shorter Walpurgis walking route is a leisurely hike around Grafenschlag into the Purzelkamp valley to Haushof, through forest and fields up to the Ödkreuzung.
Leírás
Grafenschlag lies at an average altitude of 800 m. The landscape distinctly shows the transition from the gneiss to the granite zone. Special features include the legendary Guttenberg with its massive rock faces, the idyllic landscape pond, the Martinskirche, and the pillory. Visible from afar is the Grafenschlag wind farm with now six wind turbines.

Utak leírása Walpurgis path - walking route
The leisurely Walpurgis walking route begins at the marketplace. You follow the path westward, passing the church on the left, straight ahead. In the forest, at the crossroads, choose the left path, which soon leads out of the forest again. Here you immediately spot Haushof, where an information board recalls the farmer uprisings of 1597. Then continue left back to Grafenschlag. From the town entrance, use the sidewalk until you come back onto the marketplace via the alley next to the playground.

Mystical site at Guttenberg with rock formations (sacrificial stones) and a good viewpoint
The leisurely Walpurgis walking route can be complemented in the town center, the main square in Grafenschlag, by the new themed path "Lost Crafts," which presents interesting information about now extinct professions on display boards. Furthermore, fans of farm-direct marketing can find some specialties a little off the walking route – but easily accessible – in the Hausmühle and Marktmühle, as well as in the self-service shop called Schmankerl Hittn, where a community of many direct-selling businesses offers their products.
