The Schmidatal Manhartsberg Landscape Park offers guests not only interesting historical and cultural excursion destinations, but also many opportunities for varied activities. The Schmidatal can be reached by car from Vienna, St. Pölten, Tulln, Laa an der Thaya or Gänserndorf in a maximum of one hour, making it an ideal excursion destination in the western Weinviertel.

Coming from Vienna, the best way to reach the Schmidatal is via the A22 to Stockerau and then take the Horner Bundesstraße B4.
From the St. Pölten area, take the S33 and S5 to the Sachsendorf/Kollersdorf exit, then take the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) federal road B35 and shortly after Fels am Wagram turn right onto the L1253 to Mühlbach.
From Horn you can reach the Schmidatal via the B4, from Laa an der Thaya via the B40 to Hollabrunn and then via the L43.
You can also reach us via the S5 from Kirchberg via Ruppersthal to Kleinwetzdorf.
Of course you can also reach the Schmidatal by public transport.

The nearest larger towns are Stockerau, Hollabrunn, Tulln or Krems. From there, there are various bus connections to the towns in the Schmidatal.
