Leírás
When Peter Luckner took over his parents' winery in 2013, the course had long been set for sustainable and ecologically oriented viticulture. The family has been cultivating green vineyards in all the top locations in the village for generations: On the Rosenberg, where dense loess forms the foundation for mineral and juicy Veltliner, on the Rabenstein, whose limestone-rich and barren soils provide optimal terrain for Riesling and Merlot, and in the Pfarrgarten, not far from the castle, where Chardonnay, Zweigelt and, rare and sought-after, Grüne Veltliner grow in a sheltered south-western location. A little further away is the Ekartsberg, surrounded by dense forest, whose cool microclimate gives the Pinot Blanc an extra kick thanks to its longer maturation period - aged in large acacia barrels, it takes on the protagonist role in an extensive range together with the Berggerichtsveltliner from the Rosenberg.
From the light and fruity young wines to the red wines matured in wooden barrels, great importance is attached to both varietal typicity and the authentic representation of the individual vineyards. You can taste all of this at the regular wine tavern or simply drop by the winery and sample the wines in the tasting room or on the terrace.
If you don't want to leave, you are welcome to stay in one of the family's five guest rooms.
