Huts with a view - at the summit of the Pfaffstättner Kogel
At 541 m above sea level, the Rudolf Proksch Hut welcomes its guests. The Klesheim lookout point on the Pfaffstättner Kogel offers views far beyond the dense recreational area of the Vienna Woods.
Since its reopening in May 2017 after two years of general renovation, the hut, which was built in 1930 by the Alpine Club (section "Gebirgsverein Ortsgruppe Baden"), has shone in new splendor. It can be reached via short hiking routes from
- Baden (around 1.5 hours' walk),
- Einöde (less than 1 hour's walk),
- Gumpoldskirchen (around 2 hours' walk) or
- Pfaffstätten (around 1 hour's walk).
