Franz and Irmgard Mayer's family business is located in the middle of Fronsburg, a small, idyllic village in the Waldviertel. This is the furthest away from the vineyards of the Pulkau valley. But the Mayer family shows how the Heurigen culture can be revived several times a year, even in a typical Waldviertel village.
With the various Grüne Veltliners, the family business invites you on a sensory journey from fruity elegance to Weinviertel DAC and ice wine. Discover your personal favorite. Traditional Heurigen dishes from the farm's own organic pork and innovative dishes such as spelt salad, fallow deer, smoked trout, etc. refine your stay.
Together with the other Manhartsberg winegrowers, Franz Mayer is committed to the quality wine of this region. The Mayers have specialized in Veltliner, which they cultivate in five different wines.
