Biermeile Weitra

The Weitra Beer Mile is a unique circular route through and along the historic old town that brings the beer tradition of Austria's oldest brewing town to life. At nine stations with hands-on elements, visitors can learn all about the art of brewing, history and regional specialties. 100 golden hop cones embedded in the path show the way and make the walk a special experience. The free brewery town quiz, available at the first stop on the beer mile and at the Weitra Tourist Service, is a fun way to learn all about beer.
