A mystical world of moss-covered rocks, rushing water and deep green forests opens up along the Druid Trail in the Waldviertel. It is no wonder that druids once chose this place for their meetings. Today, the circular hiking trail leads visitors in the footsteps of the Celts through a landscape full of magic and natural power.

The Druidenweg-Ysperklamm offers an intense experience of nature over a distance of around nine kilometers and a walking time of around four hours. The well-developed and signposted trail has been awarded the "Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality" - a guarantee of quality and experience value. The route is accompanied by the Celtic symbol MANNAZ, which embodies protection and humanity.

A highlight is the Ysperklamm gorge: thundering waterfalls, steep cliffs and cool air make it an unforgettable nature experience. Further up, mysterious granite rock formations with evocative names such as "Sitting Dog" or "Standing Bowl" await. Finally, at the Druid meeting point, mighty stone blocks line up to form a circle - a place that radiates tangible power.

At the Kaltenberg cross, the view opens up far across the Yspertal valley to the Ostrong. The path there leads through a rare natural forest of old beech and fir trees, a piece of pristine Austria. Whether you believe in the magic of the druids or are simply looking for the beauty of nature: The Druid Trail in the Waldviertel is a place to marvel, feel and breathe deeply.
