Hexenberg Hainburg

Listed on most maps as "Hundsheimer Berg", it offers a wonderful view!

The local mountain of the people of Hainburg - this is where people used to get their household and medicinal herbs in ancient times. Wonderful views of the Danube, the Donau-Auen National Park and, on clear days, as far as Lake Neusiedl.

Nature lovers have long been familiar with the Hundsheimer Berge as a scenic hill country rich in rare plant and animal species. In 1965, the Hundsheimer Berg was declared a nature reserve.
