Filialkirche zur Hl. Katharina in Mitterarnsdorf

The St. Catherine's branch church in Mitterarnsdorf impresses with its Gothic clarity. Despite baroqueization, the late Gothic frescoes dominate the interior of the chapel. It is presumably the pious donation of a court master and steward here in the larger Salzburg town of Arnsdorf.

St. Catherine's Church in Mitterarnsdorf is very popular with passing cyclists, which is why it is often referred to as the cyclists' church.
