A visit to Austria's only mother-of-pearl manufactory in Felling near Hardegg immerses you in the dazzling diversity of this natural material.
This traditional craft has been kept alive in the family business for over 110 years.
A short film is shown at the beginning of the tour, followed by interesting facts about the historic craft of button and jewelry production. This is followed by a tour of the production facility with a new exhibition. Finally, the store offers shopping opportunities directly from the producer.
With a sun terrace, café, selfie point and a photo of the world's largest mother-of-pearl button, every excursion is an experience!
There's plenty for the little ones here too - the playground and the "Knopferl" sandpit are a paradise for children.
