Rossatz Apricot Mile

Hike and stroll through the apricot gardens in Austria's largest apricot-growing community of Rossatz-Arnsdorf.

Here you will not only find a beautiful network of hiking trails through apricot orchards, but also get to know the locations of the most important Wachau fruit farms at so-called apricot filling stations, where you can purchase fresh fruit or refined apricot products. Hike and stroll through the apricot gardens and past the apricot farms in Austria's largest apricot-growing community, the market town of Rossatz-Arnsdorf.

The apricot mile runs from St. Johann via Oberarnsdorf to Hofarnsdorf to Mitterarnsdorf and Bacharnsdorf. The East Apricot Mile includes the villages of Rührsdorf, Rossatz and Rossatzbach, while the West Apricot Mile includes the villages of St. Johann, Oberarnsdorf, Hofarnsdorf, Mitterarnsdorf and Bacharnsdorf.
The Aprillenmeile can also be hiked in individual stages. For this purpose, we have clearly illustrated the Rossatzer Marillenmeile with its stages.
