Leírás
A signposted path that leads from Dürnstein up to the ruins provides more insight into the life of Richard the Lionheart. It is not a legend, but true that the city of Wiener Neustadt in the south of Lower Austria was built for the lavish ransom that Duke Leopold V received for the release of the English king.
Start: Donaulände, on the eastern side of the city wall, by the statue of Hadmar II.
Duration: 20 to 30 minutes pure walking time, approx. 90 minutes if using the theme trail.
Parking is available in Dürnstein in the marked, paid parking lots.
